Officially launched in January 2009, the Ipswich Rangers Rugby Academy is a revolutionary idea that will ensure that the Ipswich Rangers Rugby Union Club continues to enhance young players rugby skills, whilst also providing an all round education on this great game.


The Ipswich Rangers Rugby Academy aims to:

♦ Provide and promote exercise.

♦ Provide an opportunity to enhance players rugby skills.

♦ Develop leadership and decision making skills.

♦ Encourage being part of a team environment.

♦ Provide an education on the game of rugby including coaching and officiating.

♦ Increase their knowledge on diet and nutrition.

♦ Provide life skills and choices.
