About Leroy

An exceptionally talented footballer, Leroy represented Australia at Under-19, Under-21 and Australia A level and was selected on the 2005 Wallabies Spring Tour before he’d even played a Super 14 match.

However the expectation proved too much for him at such a young age and he decided to take a break from professional rugby in 2006.

Leroy signed a two year deal with the Reds in 2007 in time to turn out for the Wilson HTM Ballymore Tornadoes in the Mazda Australian Rugby Championship.

He became the first choice No 8 during 2008 and was rewarded with selection for Australia A in the iRB Pacific Nations Cup.
