The 2016 Ipswich Rangers Junior Registration Fees are as follows:

U6 – U9 players

$195.
Junior player registered with the Ipswich Rangers will receive:

Rangers training t-shirt
Rangers Shorts
Rangers Socks
Rangers playing jerseys supplied for game days, U6 – U11 players keep their playing jerseys at season end
Gameday Insurance
Gameday Sports Medicine and First Aid

U10 – U14 players
$250
Junior player registered with the Ipswich Rangers will receive:

U15 – U17 players

$130 for season 1, with no fee for season 2. If an U16 / U17 player plays season 2 but did not play season 1, the registration fee is still $130.

Player registration fees also contribute to the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union levy, the Queensland Rugby Union levy, the Australian Rugby Union levy, ground lighting costs, first aid costs, jersey replacement scheme, Australian Rugby Union insurance, to name just a few.

Sign On Days – 2016

Saturday 30th January 2016 9am – 1pm
Sunday 31st January 2016 9am – 1pm
Saturday 6th February 2016 9am – 1pm

All new players must produce a Birth Certificate for age verification.

Training times for 2016:
Teams in age groups U13s – U17s train from 5:30pm – 6:30pm every Thursday night.

Teams in age groups U6s – U12s train from 5:15pm – 6:30pm every Friday night.

Training is at the Ipswich Rangers home ground located at 133 Woodend Road, Woodend.

Actions to Fulfil Our Commitment

Ipswich Rugby Union Club will take steps to help identify, remove or minimize all potential hazards within the Rangers Rugby Community.

We will implement policy that all members of Ipswich Rugby Union Club hold and update a Blue Card register for all volunteers and staff working with children and young people as part of the activities of the clubs.

Implement policy, such that all serious incidents that occur are reported to Ipswich Rugby Union Club as a priority for further review.

Provide training to staff and volunteers to build capabilities in raising awarenes.

Provide training to staff and volunteers in strategies to prevent to harm and promote safety.

Providing training to staff and volunteers in handling disclosure of harm.

Review annually, all Ipswich Rugby Union Club RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGIC PLANS.

Blue card register, incident report and follow up procedures.

KEEP OUR RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGY “ALIVE” by review and renewal.

  • Ipswich Rugby Union Club Management Committee
  • Ipswich Rugby Union Club volunteer staff at event controlled by the Ipswich Rugby Union Club

Application Forms This link will provide downloads of the appropriate application forms. Volunteers who do not have a Blue Card will need to download the Volunteer Blue Card Application Form while those volunteers who already have a Blue Card will have to download the Authorsiation to Confirm a Valid Blue Card. This will include Ipswich Rugby Union Club as a notifiable organisation for the volunteers Blue Card status.
